St. Petersburg Tour Packages:
What to See?

Tour packages to Russia and especially St. Petersburg have always been a specialty for Smart Travel. We have been and remain of the opinion that you need a lot of time to do this city and its beauty justice, and so we do our best to achieve that by providing the most suitable solutions for travel from the UAE.

Russia’s second capital, according to some of our customers, is even more magnificent than Moscow herself. We think that the two cities are too different to compare them in this way, but there are certainly enough sights in St. Petersburg to satisfy the most experienced traveler.

So what can you see there with a Russia tourist visa from Dubai? Let’s go over some of the most interesting locations!

What to see in St. Petersburg

THE Hermitage Museum

The first on our list is the Hermitage Museum. It is truly a modern wonder where literally thousands of incredible art pieces are collected and displayed.

THE Winter Palace

If you decide to come to Russia for weekend, another great sight for you to see is the Winter Palace of the Russian Imperial family.

Even though the monarchy in Russia was removed in 1917 by the Socialist Revolutionary coup led by Alexander Kerensky, its many assets were preserved by both the Provisional Government and later by the Bolsheviks.

The Winter Palace is one of the most significant landmarks in Russian history that nowadays serves as a museum.

THE battleship Avrora

If you are inclined to see some more historical objects in Russia, you won’t need to go far from the palace to discover the battleship Avrora. Its cannon was the first one to signal the start of the October Revolution and the storming of the Winter Palace by the Socialists.

This battleship had participated in the Russo-Japanese War as well as WWI before playing its crucial and emblematic role in the Revolution. Today, it is anchored on the Neva River and houses a museum.

The Neva River

The Neva itself is a local curiosity. Unlike most rivers in Russia, it has a great number of moveable bridges over it, which, when raised, make for a great sight, even if the people of St. Petersburg may get annoyed at the delay.

Petergof

Petergof, another residence of the Russian Tsars, is always on our list of locations you need to see while on a luxury tour to Russia.

The incredible architectural design of this place as well as the mixture of styles as they went in and out of fashion over the period of the Imperial power in Russia are really a thing to behold. This is where the European influences on Russia are felt the most.

These, while the most famous, are but a few must-see places in St. Petersburg.
A visa to Russia that we provide is a key to enjoying these and so many more things there, and a trip to this country will not fail to impress anyone!
