The Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park

The most famous of the park’s inhabitants is its population of the European bison, an animal once hunted to extinction but restored to the wild thanks to the efforts started back in Soviet times. Today, about 300 bison can be found in the park, which is fitting as it is the national animal of Belarus.
The Mir Castle
Travel to another symbol of Belarus, the Mir Castle. Located in the Minsk Region, it is definitely the best preserved castle in the country. Due to the renovations that have taken place over the past few decades, it is now a must-see sight that will show you a great example of the Belarusian Gothic style of architecture. You can’t help but admire how authentic it looks and feels when you enter it. Sometimes, special events are held here such as reenactments and knightly jousts. What you’ll find in the castle at all times, though, is museums (including a great collection of the Masonic artifacts), restaurants, and even a hotel that lets its guests sleep under the old castle roof.
The Radziwill Palace
