You need to provide the following documents when applying for a visa to Turkey:
- Passport – has to stay valid for 6+ months from the date of travel; also has to have at least two clear pages left
- UAE residence visa – has to be valid at least 6 months from date of submission of your application
- 2 photos – white background, standard size (5*6), taken recently
- Medical insurance – valid for the entire time the visa is valid
- Birth certificate – for people under 18 years of age
- Original Bank statement for the previous three months, issued within 10 days of the application (bank stamp is compulsory)
- Invitation letter – if applicable
- Non-objection letter from your sponsor
- Copy of your Emirates ID

No, you can do it in any order that suits you. But it is highly recommended that you do not confirm the flight ticket before the visa is issued.

For how long can I stay in Turkey?
A tourist visa also allows you to stay in Turkey for a maximum of 90 days. To extend your stay beyond this period, you must apply for a long-term permit within 30 days of your date of arrival.
What happens if you stay in Turkey for more than 90 days?
If your application to stay in Turkey for more than 90 days is rejected by the Turkish immigration authorities for any reason, you will have ten days to leave the country. If you stay in Turkey after this period, you will be fined.

You can attempt to appeal to the embassy or the consulate. Be aware that this will take a lot of time, so it is advisable to get all the required documents in order in advance so that such a problem does not appear in the first place.
How much money can I bring along?
There are no restrictions on how much currency you can bring in, but as for moving it out of Turkey, no more than $5000 in Turkish and foreign currencies each can be taken with you on the way out.
