Main rules
The rules of coming into Russia are regulated by the 16.03.2020 Government Resolution N635-R as well as the Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) requirements.
According to them, a foreign national must provide a medical certificate that proves they are not suffering from the coronavirus.
There are several further points to be aware of:
- Such a certificate must prove that the testing took place no earlier than two days prior to one’s arrival to Russia.
- At the same time, it has to be provided upon boarding the plane.
- The certificate needs to be either in Russian or English. - An insurance agreement valid for the Russian Federation.
